Thomas is VP of Engineering at Merantix Labs. He holds a PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in Computer Science and a MSc in medical computer science from Heidelberg University. In his PhD thesis, he contributed to high-content microscopy image analysis by proposing various novel deep learning methods. His expertise lies in particular in the processing and presentation of biomedical data. Thomas has 10+ years of experience in computer vision and 15+ years of experience in software engineering.
